    Doctoral Program

    The doctoral program prepares students for careers in academia and advanced research and administrative positions. The program encompasses the basic requirements of the master’s program, and extends preparation through advanced study which addresses research, supervision, consulting, professional accountability, providing professional leadership, supervised clinical and administrative experiences, teaching, and writing for publication. Doctoral students must acquire at least 36 credits including two departmental core courses. The students coming from another major in master degree should complete 3 more core courses as prerequisites. In addition students should take two research methodology courses and one supervision practicum course (60 clock hours), which is available from either our department or another department. Before students publicly present their dissertation proposal, they need to finish their supervision practicum experience and publish either two articles as a first author or at least four articles as co-authors. Students will be granted only 2 times per semester to present their dissertation proposal.

    Dissertation

    Before students publicly present their dissertation proposal, they need to finish their supervision practicum experience and publish either two articles as a first author or at least four articles as co-authors. Students will be granted only 2 times per 1 semester to present their dissertation proposal. After this presentation, they will be able to start collecting and analyzing data and writing their dissertation. The dissertation committee is comprised of three department faculty members and two members from external departments.
